 The Portland District of the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE-Portland) intends on issuing a solicitation leading to an award for a FFP Construction Contract for The Bonneville Powerhouse II, Domestic Water Rehabilitation.  The Magnitude of Construction is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00.  This project is a follow on from W9127N-08-C-0033, which was awarded in 2008.The work to be performed under this contract consists of providing the labor, equipment and materials for rehabilitation of the current domestic water system at Power house II of the Bonneville Dam water system at the Bonneville Dam.  Work will include  new decholorination units for the powerhouses, various pumps/piping modifications and addition of instrumentation and automated controls.   This project will require a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) which is required of all construction contracts with the Portland District.  The SSHO is required to have a minimum of three (3) years of safety work with similar projects and a thirty (30) hour OSHA construction safety class (or equivalent) taken with the past three (3) years. The SSHO may have no other duties for this work except function as the on-site CQC Manager.  This procurement is being offered as a sole source SDVOSB to Force 1 Construction Group, Inc., DUNS: 809055853, 201 S. Pacific Ave, Kelso, WA 98626-2118, under NAICS: 237990.
