United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has embarked upon the project "Sustainable Development of Utility Scale Wind Power Generation Project" referred to as the UNDP/GEF Wind Energy Project (WEP). The project is being funded by Global Environment Facility (GEF) and implemented through Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB), Government of Pakistan. As a part of its institutional strengthening program of relevant government institutions, WEP is intending to offer training services to relevant personnel in National Transmission & Dispatch Company (NTDC) and relevant organizations for effective integration of wind farm with national grid. The training will be based on software packages currently in use globally to perform grid integration and power quality analysis.
WEP is inviting proposals from qualified consulting firms/experts interested in providing the training services for the aforementioned. Last date for submission of proposals along with required documents as mentioned in RFP document, is 5° January 2010 (1600 hrs PST).
