The U.S. Army Geospatial Center intends to make an award on a competitive basis for onsite graduate level Geospatial Information Science and Information Technology (GIS&IT) education. GIS&IT is the exploitation of imaginary and geospatial information to describe, assess, and visually depict physical features and geographically referenced activities. The contractor selected shall have advanced knowledge of GIS&IT and experience in providing advanced GIS&IT education. Initial courses will be from a Geospatial Intelligence certificate program and courses included in the Geospatial Information Science and Information Technology Masters degree program.

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 611310 with a small business size standard of $7,000,000.

The successful contractor shall provide all labor, academic materials, and tools to perform the work in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The solicitation #W5J9CQ-10-R-0002 will be available on or about 16 December 2009.
The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) web site http://www.fbo.gov/. This requirement will be accessible to those companies deemed eligible by the information they provided when they register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) web site http://www.ccr.gov/ and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) web site http://bpn.gov/.

Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. The Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments and other general information, will also be distributed solely through this site.

All interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have up-to-date information about this acquisition and are encouraged to monitor and register their company on the Interested Vendor List (IVL) and Register to Receive Notifications.
The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Priced contract with a base award plus four (4) option years.
