The General Services Administration (GSA) is currently seeking potential sources for Acquisition Support services for the Heartland Supply Operations Center (HSOC) located in the Kansas City, Missouri area.  HSOC provides for the acquisition of products and services for federal and military customers.  The nature of the products and services range from, but not limited to, tools, paints, sealants, and adhesives. The scope of work includes providing acquisition support (planning, research, and purchasing) by completing purchases of products and services in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), General Services Acquisition Manual (GSAM), and other procedures.  

A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price, Performance Based Services Contract with a period of performance of one base year (12 months) with four one-year options. The anticipated start date will be April 1, 2010 and the anticipated end date will be March 31, 2015, if all options are exercised.

All interested parties are invited to respond by submitting a Statement of Capabilities (SOC) in the format attached.  The SOC must be complete and sufficiently detailed to allow GSA to determine the firm's qualifications to perform the defined work. The SOC must be submitted electronically as an attachment to an email in one of the two listed formats (Word (.doc), Rich Text Format (.rtf)), with a table of contents and each section clearly identifiable by the numbers listed.  Failure to present the SOC in the correct format may result in the information being provided not being included in the market survey.  Questions and submittals should be made to katie.norton@gsa.gov with "QSDM-K7-090033-N" in the subject line.  Failure to properly identify the email in the subject line may result in the email being overlooked or filtered out.  Potential offeror's SOC should be received no later than Friday, December 4, 2009, 5pm CST to ensure that it is included in the market survey results.
