The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Tallahassee, Florida, itends to issue a solicitation RFQP03141000004 for the requirements of: QUARTERLY SUBSISTENCE-Kosher Items.  This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, delivery dates will begin January 4, 2010 and ends February 10, 2010.  Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 501 Capital Circle, NE, Tallahassee, FL 32301.  The contract type is firm-fixed price.  The Government reserves the right upon award to make a formal single or multiple awards.  The Government will award to the responsible offer(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered.  The solicitation will be made available on or about November 21, 2009 and will be posted to the General Service Administrations, Federal Business Opportunities website:  http://www.fbo.gov.  All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site.  Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure having the most up to date information about this solicitation.  The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is December 10, 2009.  Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).  Each offeror is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via On Line Representations and Certification Applications (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov.  Faith Based and Community Based Organizations are included.  The point of contact for all information regarding this solicitation is Annie A.
