Announces an open tender concerning purchase of foodstuffs.

Tender shall consist of 2 (two) lots:

Foodstuffs (bread, meat, milk, butter, sugar, granulated sugar, tea, rice, macaroni, cereal and etc.)


Tender participants are proposed to submit their tender proposals in a double-sealed envelope, authorized by signature and stamp according to the Law of Azerbaijan Republic “On State Procurements”.
In assessing the tender proposals preference will be given to the following criteria: low price, high quality, the contract on time, the financial situation of the applicant, and the experience in analogical field.
Tender participants must possess necessary technical and financial possibilities for fulfilling the contract.
Those who wish may get Request For Proposal (RFP), compiled in Azerbaijan language at Goygol Central Hospital, after transferring participation fee.

The participation fee is not refundable in any cases.
Applicants must submit the following documents to participate at the tender:
- A written request to participate in the tender;
- Bank document on payment of fee to participate in the tender;
- Bank certificate on bidder’s financial state for last 1 (one) year;
- Bidder’s full name, juridical status, country of registration and requisites;
- Information about potential possibilities for fulfilling the works;
- Information from the relevant tax authorities to pay taxes and other debts, and no overdue debts in the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Tender proposal (must be valid at least 30 banking days from the date of opening of the envelope);
- A bank guarantee in amount of 2% (guarantee proposals) of the tender proposal value (must be valid at least 60 banking days from the date of opening of the envelope).

Documents must be compiled in Azerbaijan language, in 2 copies (original and copy) (documents in foreign language must be translated into Azerbaijan language).
Tender procedure will be held according to the law of Azerbaijan Republic on “State Procurement”.
Bidders must submit above shown documents (with exception of tender proposal and bank guarantee) for Lot 1 till 17:00, December 19, 2009, tender proposal and bank guarantee till 17:00, January 7, 2010, for Lot-2, above shown documents for Lot 1 till 17:00, December 19, 2009, tender proposal and bank guarantee till 17:00, January 9, 2010 in sealed double envelopes to the Goygol Central Regional Hospital (address: Goygol city, 1, Mir Jalal Pashayev, Str.).
The envelopes submitted after the deadline will be returned unopened.
Proposal envelopes of Lot-1 will be unsealed at 12:00 on January 12, 2010, lot-2 on January 13 at the above mentioned address.
Authorized representatives of the bidders can take part in the tender procedure.
