Cost Planning, Cost Estimating and Cost Control Services

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is inviting
firms and individuals qualified in the delivery of real property
construction and consultant services for the provision of all
labour, materials, equipment, tools and supervisions necessary
to provide cost planning, cost estimating and cost control
services.

The selected contractors shall provide a full scope of services
including: Cost Planning, Cost Estimating and Cost Control on a
variety of design and construction projects within the National
Capital Area. These services may be required for any or all
phases of each individual project including planning, design and
tender, construction to commissioning and project evaluation.

Firms should be able to demonstrate successful delivery of these
services for a broad variety of projects over the last five (5)
years. In general, the firm and its personnel will be evaluated
on the basis of their demonstrated understanding of the Scope of
Services, their approach and methodology to providing those
services, the quality of their relevant experience in this area,
as well as the cost of the provision of the services.

It is PWGSC's intention to authorize up to three (3) Standing
Offers, each for a period three (3) years from the date of
issuing the Standing Offers. The total dollar value of all
Standing Offers is anticipated to be $1,800,000 (GST Included).
Individual call-ups will vary up toa maximum of $175,000 (GST
Included). Offerors should note that there is no guarantee that
the full amount of the Standing Offers will be called-up. PWGSC
will award call-ups only when the specific work to be provided
under the Standing Offer are needed.

Firms and individuals that considers themselves qualified to
provide this work may order the Request for Standing Offer
document from the Government Electronic Tendering Service
through MERX. Late submissions will not be considered.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
