II.3) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND QUANTITY OR VALUE OF SUPPLIES OR
SERVICES: The Scottish Prison Service is lead partner for a collaborative
project whose aim is to provide prisoner escorting and court custody
services (PECCS) to the Scottish Criminal Justice sector. The scope of
services will reflect movement of persons and prisoners detained in legal
custody, and also management of prisoners within Scottish courts. The
service will be provided across Scotland to Scottish Prison Service,
Scottish Court Service and the 8 Scottish Police forces locations. The
scope will also include a range of ad-hoc prisoner escort activities
including movements to hospitals, interjurisdictional movements, etc.
