Utility Stores Corporation of Pakistan invites sealed Tenders from the Sugar Mills (who are members of Pakistan Sugar Mills Association) for purchase of sugar for its requirement for the year 2009-10.

Terms and Condition
a) Sealed tenders should reach to USC Head Office at 1100 hours on 26th November 2009 which will be opened on the same day in the presence of the authorized representatives of the Sugar Mills who wish to attend.
The tenders must be accompanied with an Earnest Money at the rate of 3% the total value of the bid/offer in the shape of Demand Draft / Pay Order in the name of Utility Stores Corporation. The Earnest Money shall be refunded to the unsuccessful Sugar Mills immediately after the finalization of the bids. The bids/offers without Earnest Money shall not be entertained. Income Tax shall be deducted as per Government Rules in this behalf. The Sugar Mills must mention their NTN Numbers and Sales Tax number in the bids.
e) The Tender documents can be purchased from the USC Zonal Offices mentioned above on payment of Rs. 500/- per tender document, for which a proper receipt will be provided. The interested Sugar Mills participating in the tender are required to attach the receipt along with their bids/offers. The interested Sugar to attach the obtain details- through USC website www.ppra.org.pk or www.usc.com.pk
f) The offer must be submitted on the letterhead pad of the Sugar Mills.
g) The Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any of the tenders. However, in case of rejection proper reason thereof shall be assigned and communicated.
