Note: Crop Year: 2008-09; Quantity Specification: Karachi Godown: (i) 11,099 Bales Grade-II, 1-1/16" (II) 8,000 Bales Grade-Ill. 1-1/16" Total: 19.099 Bales

Firm Bids are invited by TCP for Export and Domestic sale of Pakistani Cotton on "as is where is" basis as per the following details: Bids for above specification/grade should be of entire quantity of each group as given in Annexure-1 A Quality shall be accepted as per TCP evaluation and the procedure of allocation and acceptance/rejection will not be applicable as the cotton is offered on "as is where is" basis. Cotton can be inspected in TCP's Godown, Karachi (Korangi & Landhi) before bidding (during working hours) Bidders must indicate group on each offer.
Note: The successful bidder will have to pay applicable taxes, duties and levies as per law.
2) Sealed Bid(s) on prescribed form (Annexure - I) along with the Bid Money should be dropped in the tender box placed at the Reception Counter, 4"1 Floor, Block-B, Finance & Trade Center, Shahrah-e-Faisalt Karachi latest by 1130 hours PST on Monday, 23rd November, 2009. No bid will be entertained after 1130 hours. Sealed bid(s) along with Bid Money sent by Mail/Courier Service should be delivered at TCP within the prescribed date and time as stated above. Bid(s) sent by Courier Service/Mail, not received in time will not be considered. Bid(s) sent through fax, telex and e-mail should not be entertained. Bid(s) not accompanied by Bid Money shall not be considered. Words "tender for export sale" or "domestic sale" should be written on the envelope in bold letters. The bids should be valid up to 7:00 pm PST Thursday, 26m November 2009.
3) The bids shall be opened at 1130 hours PST on Monday, 23rd November, 2009 in the Board Room of TCP located on the same floor in the presence of such bidders who wish to be present at the time of tender opening.
4) TCP reserves the right to increase or decrease the tendered quantity. TCP also reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids, wholly or partially, without assigning any reason thereof.
