Note: Fee of Registration/Renewal of registration :- The completed application should accompany a registration fee or renewal fee of Rs. 1000/- and a Government Stamp fee of Rs. 100/-. A Cheque, Money Order or Postal Order drawn in favour of the "Director General", to the total cost of the above charges. Rs. 1100/- (Rs. One Thousand One Hundred Only) should be directed to the above address or payments in cash can be made by calling over at the head office.

According to the Process regulations No. 01 of 2007 made to the above Act, applications are called for the registration and renewal of registrations for year 2010, from the following Manufacturers and Exporters.
1) Exporters of raw material rubber and rubber based products.
2) Manufacturers of rubber and rubber based products (intermediate/Finished).
3) Natural rubber product manufacturers (All manufacturers of crepe rubber and centrifuge latex).
Application should be received on or before 31st of December 2009. Manufacturers and Exporters who failed to get registered or renewed the registration for year 2007, 2008 or 2009-shall also apply for such registration or renewal, in addition to the 2010 on or before the above stated date.
Applications for Registration :- Registered manufacturers will get their application forms for renewal for year 2010 by post and others' can obtain their applications from the head office of Rubber Development Department at 55/75, Vauxhall Lane, Colombo 02.
Fee of Registration/Renewal of registration :- The completed application should accompany a registration fee or renewal fee of Rs. 1000/- and a Government Stamp fee of Rs. 100/-. A Cheque, Money Order or Postal Order drawn in favour of the "Director General", to the total cost of the above charges. Rs. 1100/- (Rs. One Thousand One Hundred Only) should be directed to the above address or payments in cash can be made by calling over at the head office.
As a requirement for the registration, Exporters and Manufacturers shall forward the statement on the composition and actual percentage of rubber in the rubber and rubber based products along with the application (Form RCess-2).
Manufacturers and Exporters who failed to get registered or renewed the registration for the lapsed years shall also forward the applications with arrears fee to the above address in hand or by post.

An individual/institution who does carryout the business without getting registered under Rubber Development or renewing the registration shall undergo a penalty imposed by the Provision No. 4.10 of Rubber Replanting Subsidy (amended) Act No. 20 of 2006.
