Sale by open auction (or disposal of standing trees duly marked along Hyderabad — Mirpurkhas Road shall be held on 23-11 -2009 at 12:00 Noon in the office of the undersigned through constituted auction committee. Any person or company / firm can participate by depositing Call Deposit in favour of Project Manager, Project Implementation Unit. Hyderabad-Mirpurkhas Dual Carriageway Project, Hyderabad prior to start of auction process-Details of trees put for auction are as under: However, the interested bidder has to assess the number of trees and to satisfy himself and this office does bear any sort of responsibility regarding authenticity of number of trees at any stage.
The Auction is conceptualized on 'As is where is' basis.
The highest bidder has to deposit 10% (Ten per cent) of his bid amount as advance payment on being highest bidder and furnish irrevocable bank guarantee for the remaining 90% (Ninety per cent) on the format whose specimen is appended with agreement form, but before issuance of approval letter for tree cutting. The security deposit will be refunded after satisfactory performance of the agreement covenants.
The balance 90% amount shall be recovered in three equal installments payable on or before 01-12-2009; 01-01-2010 and 01-02-2010. In the event of default in timely payment or breach of agreement, his bank guarantee in total shall be encased and forfeited to Government irrespective of outstanding dues. The trees are to be uprooted by digging 3 feet pits and roots removal from the right of way. The bidder has to clear right of way from all fallen trees, branches, leaves and its loitering, else the same will be cleared at the bidders' risk and cost.
All necessary precautions have to be exercised by the bidder and adequate arrangements are to be made regarding safety of traffic flowing on Hyderabad — Mirpurkhas Road. Untoward accident shall be the responsibility of the bidder only.
Stamps duty and Income Tax as admissible under the rules have to be deposited by the bidder with this office.
If the auction is not conducted or acceptable bid not received or bid is rejected, the following schedule will be observed for re-auction.

Specimen of auction agreement and bank guarantee may be obtained from this office on any working day before auction date on payment of Rs. 1000/-.
