REQUIREMENT:

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement to
procure quantity two (02) 45 Ton Capacity Rhino Axle Jacks as
well as one (01) hard copy manual for each Jack, plus an
electronic copy.

Mandatory Delivery Date: The Contractor shall complete the
delivery no later than 31 March 2010.

Further to this notice, please see Solicitation No.
W8475-105039/A for the detailed requirements as detailed in
Annex A, Technical Evaluation Plan for Rhino Axle Jack.

EVALUATION PLAN OVERVIEW:

This evaluation plan overview describes the methodology to be
followed by DND for the technical evaluation of the proposals
submitted for the provisioning of the Rhino Axle Jacks and
associated Manuals. The Contractor bid evaluations will be
comprised of Mandatory Requirements as specified within the
Request For Proposal (RFP). Contractors proposals shall comply
with all mandatory requirements. Having passed the mandatory
requirements, bidders will be compared on the basis of project
costs. The selected bidder will be the one with the lowest
project cost.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
