DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – #GW955031– Disposal of AFFF and PFOS Impacted Wastewater, 14 Wing Greenwood, Nova Scotia.

The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for the disposal/deconstruction of film forming foam (AFFF) with a component of perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS).

THE TENDER FORM AND ALL AMENDMENTS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH MERX DISTRIBUTION.

A site meeting will be held at the following date, time and location. It is highly recommended that bidders attend this site meeting.

Date: December 3, 2009

Time: 10:30 hours, local time.

Location: Check Point Charlie Parking Lot (Annex D)

A site visit and sample collection is scheduled for 10:30 am,(Greenwood Time) Thursday December 3, 2009. Contractors are expected to bring their own vessel and means for sample collection. Those attending the site visit shall submit their names to the DCC Client Representative, Ken Smiley, by the end of the day before the scheduled site visit. Names may be submitted via email to ken.smiley@dcc-cdc.gc.ca. Contractors can pick up passes at Pass Control (3 Maple Street) at 14 Wing Greenwood. Contractors can proceed to Check Point Charlie Parking Lot (Annex D) and await escort to the site.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $760,000.00

This procurement follows tendering procedures in accordance with
Chapter 10 of NAFTA .
