Sealed quotations are being called by this department to Acquire a Building for Rent from 01.02.2010 to function the Government Publications Bureau. Rent agreement of the building is for 2 years.
The building should) possess the following requirements.
Area of the building should be to the extent of 6000-8000 square feet (The required building should be with storing facilities.)
The premises should have the access for minimum of 4 vehicles with parking facilities. (It is more suitable if the building is in the close proximity of this department within the municipal limit of Colombo 05,06.07,08 and 10).
Premises should be with office environment refurbishing with electricity, telephone. pipe-borne water and water-sealed latrines facilities.
Sealed quotations should comprise the plan of the building sufficing the above requirements, anticipated rent for the building and other conditions and should be forwarded to this department by registered post to reach on or before 30.11.2009 at 2.30 p.m. If not, could be dropped in the tender box placed in the Procurement Section. Tenders will be opened on the same day at 2.35 p.m.
It should be clearly written on the left hand corner of the tender cover as 'Calling Quotations for Government Publications Bureau office facilities". Right of accepting or rejecting the quotations is reserved for the Procurement Committee of the department.
