Note: Supply of Motor Bikes for public Health Inspectors in Ratnapura District.

Payment of a nonrefundable fee of Rs. 1000/=.

The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received a grant from the World Bank towards the cost of Health Sector Development, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Grant to payments under the Contract for Supply of Motor Bikes for public Health Inspectors in Ratnapura District.
Chairman, Procurement committee, Office of the Regional Director of Health Services,, now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for supply and delivery of the under mentioned items.
Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Office of the Regional Director of Health Services New Town Ratnapura, and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below between 08.30 a.m. and 16.15 p.m. from 18th November 2009 up to 12 noon on 17th December 2009.
A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon Payment of a nonrefundable fee of Rs. 1000/= between 8.30 a.m. and 16.15 p.m. from 18th November 2009 up to 12.00 noon on 17th December 2009. The method of payment will be cash.
Bidders should be the manufacturers or authorized agents of local or foreign manufacturers. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
Sealed Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10.00 a.m. on 18th December 2009. Bids will be closed at 10.00 a.m. on 18th December and will be opened afterwards. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at the time of opening.
