Work consists of Repair of Silver Lake Harbor North Jetty in Pamlico Sound, Hyde County. Repair of an estimated 25-30 foot section of the jetty has been breached and will involve the use of 1-ton granite stone placed over the original remaining stone within the same alignment. In Smith's Creek, Repair Breakwater in the Neuse River, south of Oriental in Pamlico County involves an estimated 125-150 feet of the breakwater to be repaired with 1-ton granite stone over the estimated footage. The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price. Estimated cost range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00. The Solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 05 October 2009 with bids due on or about 10 November 2009. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. In order to receive notification of any amendm ents to this solicitation, interested parties must REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. If you are registered, the Government is not responsible with providing you or your company with notification of any changes to this solicitation. You shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration in order to be eligible to receive an award from the solicitation. The web site is http://www.ccr.gov.
