This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-37 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20091019. NAICS is 333415 with a small business size standard of 750 employees.
*This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside.
Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer that meets the salient characteristics listed below.
45 CONS, Patrick Air Force Base, FL, 32925 is seeking to purchase Brand Name commercial items manufactured and designed by Trane Corp. as follows: Air Handler, Model: MCCB003/008, Qty. 2 each and Shipping FOB Destination, Patrick AFB, FL 2 EA.
Minimum Salient Characteristic: Indoor M-series climate changer MCCB003 for outside air and MCCB008 for return air, 208-230 volt 60 hertz 3 phase, double wall construction, hinged access doors, 1-1/2 lb. insulation, factory mounted magnehelic filter gauge, 2" pleated media filter, chilled water cooling coil with copper tubes and aluminum fins, complete coat dip and bake corrosion protection coating for OA coil, stainless steel coil casing and drain pan for OA/RA coil, inverter duty rated supply fan.
Delivery: 30 days After Receipt of Order.
Place of delivery, performance, and acceptance is FOB Destination, Patrick AFB, FL 32925
