Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(a)2(b), the U.S. Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Blauer Manufacturing Company, Inc. of Boston, MA, to deliver 1 medium sized, 8 large size, 8 extra large, and 1 double extra large commercial Blauer HZ-9420 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) protective garments currently certified at NFPA 1994 Class 2. These products are to be used in a Law Enforcement Response Level (LERL) 2 environment. Only Blauer HZ-9420 will be procurred.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the U.S. Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, via e-mail at jonathan.lehmann@us.army.mil. no later than 2 December 2009, 12:00 pm EST.
