DESCRIPTION: The General Services Administration (GSA), is interested in leasing approximately 7,950 rentable square feet of contiguous office and related space yielding a minimum of 6,915 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet (previously usable). Visitor and employee parking must meet at least the minimum code requirements of the local jurisdiction and include secure parking spaces for five (5) Government vehicles. A secured storage yard that can allow storage of two (2) fifty-five foot boats on trailers that have a 0.75 turn radius when in tow is highly desired. TENANT: Customs and Border Patrol (CBP). LOCATION: Offered properties shall be located within the following delineated areas within San Diego, California: Starting from the corner of N. Harbor Drive and Ash Street, east to First Avenue, north to I-5 and along I-5 to Laurel Street to Colombia and then to Washington, continuing along Washington to Titus Street, along Titus to Henry Street, along henry Street to California Street, along California Street to Hortensia Street, along Hortensia Street to San Diego Avenue, along San Diego Avenue to Taylor Street, along Taylor Street to I-5, along I-5 to I-8, along I-8 to Nimitz, along Nimitz south to Rosecrans, along Rosecrans west to Talbot, along Talbot to Anchorage, along an imaginary line through the bay to the intersection of Nimitz and North Harbor Drive, along North Harbor Drive (including Harbor Island) easterly back to the origin. The agency mission requires quick and ready access from any proposed building to the Marine Corps Recruit Depot. The Government may consider buildings slightly outside the above described delineated area such that the drive time from the building to the Marine Corps Recruit Depot is 10 minutes or less, at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. LEASE TERM: The lease will be for a minimum of five (5) years. REQUIRED: Any offered buildings must be of sound and substantial construction, of a type generally recognized as modern, office space. The space shall be altered to meet the Government�s requirements, shall have a fully serviced rent structure, shall be fully accessible in accordance with ABAAS (previously ADA) standards, and shall conform to applicable Life Safety Performance Level of RP 6 (seismic standards). Offered space must be contiguous. POINT OF CONTACT: Expressions of interest should be submitted to the following person and address in writing, via e-mail or via fax, and should provide the building name, address, and the offered square footage. Response should also include a floor plan, a site plan, accessibility to public transit (identifying existing transit stops, route number and schedule) and a list of moderately priced eateries and services within 2 blocks (downtown locations) and eateries within 1 mile and other employee services located within 2 miles of the site if located outside of downtown San Diego.
