The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to conduct a sole source procurement for Interest Net Software Maintenance Renewal manufactured by Decision Modeling Inc (DMI). Suffern, NY. Decision Modeling Inc, (DMI) provides the only manual interest calculation tool that computes the interest in accordance with legislation and court cases. Without the service, The Internal Revenue Service will be unable to support the on going tax changes and accurately calculate interest for taxpayers. The Government intends to solicit and award to only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested parties may provide a written response to this Notice, to be received by the IRS by no later than 12:00 P.M. (EST), November 25, 2009. Responses that clearly demonstrate the ability to meet all requirements and that is more advantageous to the Government will be considered. However, the final award decision lies solely with the Government in this matter. Any questions should be directed to Margaret Baker, Contract Specialist, in writing, via e-mail:Margaret.Baker@irs.gov. If no written responses are received that clearly demonstrate the ability to meet all requirements or that is more advantageous to the Government, the IRS will negotiate and award a contract, to Decision Modeling, Inc.
