The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Forrest City, Arkansas, intends to issue a solicitation for FY 2010 - 2nd Quarter Food Subsistence items. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business, FOB Destination and delivery dates will be between January 5, 2010 and January 23, 2010. Delivery dates after this week must be approved by the Food Service Administrator. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Complex Warehouse, 1301 Dale Bumpers Road, Forrest City, Arkansas 72335. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation are considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on past performance and price. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 23, 2009, and all future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Quotes will be due WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2009, by 12:00 pm central time. The Government reserves the right to make payment using either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or the Government Purchase Card. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website is www.ccr.gov.
