The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Edgefield, South Carolina, intends to issue solicitation RFQ P03031000009 for the requirements of: QUARTERLY DAIRY. This solicitation is restricted to 100% small business, FOB Destination, and delivery will be split into two different schedules. Milk, and cottage cheese will be delivered twice weekly, on Monday and Thursday mornings, with the first delivery being MONDAY, JANUARY 4, 2010. Should any scheduled delivery fall on a holiday, delivery will be made on the next business day, unless otherwise specified by the food service department. The remaining items will be delivered by JANUARY 15, 2010. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 501 Gary Hill Road, Edgefield, South Carolina 29824. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The contracting official intends to make an all or none award on the milk, and cottage cheese. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards for the remaining items. The Government will award to the responsible quoter whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered equally. The solicitation will be made available on or about NOVEMBER 16, 2009, and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, and award information will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Quotes will be due Thursday, DECEMBER 10, 2009 by 2:00 pm EST. The Government reserves the right to make payment using either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or the Government Purchase Card. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
