WATER SECTOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (WSDP) REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DETAILED ENGINEERING DESIGN, PREPARATION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISIONOF SEWERAGESYSTEM WORKS IN SINGIDA MUNICIPALITY AND WATER SUPPLY WORKS IN MANYONI AND KIOMBOI TOWNSHIPS
TENDER NO. AE/042/2009/2010/C/01 1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which appeared in the United NationsDevelopmentBusiness Issue no. WB 320-696/07 dated 17th January, 2007. 2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from Development Partners toward the cost of theWater Sector Development Program (WSDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultancy services. The services includePreparation of Detailed Engineering Design and Tender Documents, and Construction Supervision of (i) Sewerage Works in SingidaMunicipality and (ii) Water Supply in Manyoni & Kiomboi Townships. 3. The Singida Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Authority now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest inproviding the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services(brochures, descriptions of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, the names and contact address of clients served,availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. 4. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank's "Guidelines: Selection andEmployment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers" dated May 2004; Revised October 2006. 5. Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours from 8:00 to 15:30 hours,Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except on public holidays. 6.
