UNDP is seeking to strengthen Information Technology project management by standardizing processes and improving availability of standardized templates. Project management maturity and standardization was a major reason for establishing the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) within the Office of Information Systems and Technology (OIST). UNDP’s projects and programmes outside OIST are currently considered out of scope.
