The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) would like to request your company to provide us with quotations for the following Sun Microsystems products and services:

UNDP would like to trade-in the following equipment towards the purchase of the new equipment above. In this regard, please specify trade-in values:

• Three (3) 220R’s
• Two (2) Netra T1’s
• Eight (8) 280R’s

• One (1) V120
• One (1) F3800

The above equipment will be turned-in by UNDP within 90 days of receipt of above equipment. Vendor is to be responsible for packaging and pick-up of these servers to be traded in.



The quote should include:

Confirmation that your company:
• Is a Sun Microsystems Authorized Reseller;
• Is Sun authorized and will provide Sun certified engineers to perform all work.

Please note that UNDP may purchase at either GSA or open-market pricing, whichever is lower.

We need to know the number of CPU’s in the F3800 as that will determine its trade in value.


UNDP’s Response

The server in question has four (4) CPUs - 2 x 1050MHz + 2 x 900MHz with 20GB of RAM.
