Invitation to Bid

The UNDP Country Office will be procuring Corrugated Galvanized Iron (CGI) sheets for the earthquake affected areas in eastern Bhutan. National and international bidders having valid trade licenses are therefore invited to bid for the supply of CGI Sheets as per the following specifications:

Items:

Corrugated Galvanized Iron (CGI) sheets for roofing

Specification:

conforming to IS 277:1992, sizes 12ft x 32 inches (weighing 15-16.6 kgs. each), 0.63mm thickness (24 swg), 120 gms zinc coating per sqm

Quantity:

15,000 Sheets (Fifteen Thousand Sheets)

Interested/qualified bidders can collect the Bidding Documents from the Procurement Unit, UNDP Office, Samten Lam, Thimphu from 16 -20 November, 2009 during working hours or download it from the UNDP website www.undp.org.bt . The qualification criteria of bidders are given in the Bidding Document.





Completed bidding documents must be sent to the following email address:



eq-procurement.bt@undp.org OR in hard copy in a sealed outer envelope titled “BIDDING DOCUMENT: DO NOT OPEN BEFORE 3 PM ON 26 NOVEMBER 2009,” to the following address:



UNDP CO, Bhutan, Samten Lam,Thimphu , Bhutan



Bids must be delivered to the above physical or email address on or before 2 pm on 26 November 2009. Bids received after 2 pm on 26 November 2009 shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders/their authorized representatives (for those who choose to attend) at the UN Conference hall on 26 November 2009 at 3 pm.
