| Description | The aim of this project is to improve Defence's ability to provide medical support to training activities conducted at Mount Bundey. Medical teams will deploy and occupy the facility, during training activities, to provide ongoing care to low risk patients and extensive primary health care to high risk patients before evacuation to Darwin hospital. The users of the facility will be Defence medical teams augmented by Civilian aero-medical evacuation teams. These teams deploy and re-deploy with their specialist medical equipment. Hence, the facility is to be suitable for periodic occupation and minimal use during the wet season. |
