BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE
INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The City Government of Tanauan, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors classified by and registered with the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) as "Medium A" to apply for eligibility and if subsequently found eligible, to bid for the projects described hereunder viz:

Prospective bidders should possess a valid PCAB License applicable to the contract, have completed a similar contract with a value of at least 50% of the ABC, and have key personnel and equipment (listed in the Eligibility Forms) available for the prosecution of the contract. The BAC will use non-discretionary pass/fail criteria in the Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids. The BAC will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR).

The schedule of BAC activities is as follows:

2. Issuance of Eligibility Forms November 24, 2009
3. Receipt of Eligibility Requirements November 25, 2009
4. Notice of Results of Eligibility Check November 26, 2009
5. Issuance of Bid Documents November 27, 2009
6. Pre-bid Conference November 25, 2009
7. Deadline and Submission of Bids December 8, 2009 10:00 am
7. Receipt and Opening of Bids December 8, 2009 2:00pm

The BAC will issue to prospective bidders Eligibility Forms at Tanauan City, upon their submission of a LOI, and upon their payment of a non-refundable amount based on schedule projects cost to the City Government of Tanauan Cashier. Prospective bidders shall submit the Eligibility Requirements to the BAC at the said address. They may also obtain the results of the Eligibility Check by the BAC at the same address.

The BAC will issue Bidding Documents only to bidders declared by the BAC to be eligible for the bidding upon payment of a non-refundable amount of based on schedule project cost to the City Government of Tanauan Cashier.

The City Government of Tanauan is incurred in the preparation of their bids.
