Applications are invited from reputed Manufacturers, Suppliers and Contractors for the supply of items and for providing services listed below for the year 2010.
All applications should be sent under Registered Cover to the Chairman, Meda Dumbara Pradeshiya Sabha, Teldeniya, to reach on or before 2010.01.31. Top left hand corner of the envelope should be marked as "Registration of Suppliers and Contractors - 2010". Registration fee for each supply and service appeared in this list, should be payable by cheques, drawn in favour of the "Chairman, Meda Dumbara Pradeshiya Sabha".
Self prepared applications should be sent together with copies of relevant certificates (with all details).
Quotations will be called from the list of registered suppliers, but the Meda Dumbara Pradeshiya Sabha reserves the right to obtain offers or invite tenders from those who have not registered with the Sabha, if necessary.
Suppliers who fail to communicate when requested or failed to effect delivery regularly or whose supplies are not in conformity with the specifications or samples, will be removed from the register of suppliers, without notice.
The suppliers who request for an advance payment will not be registered in the suppliers list. Suppliers should provide credit facilities for a minimum of 60 days to the Sabha.
Those who apply for registration as a construction contractor has to produce the copies of ICTAD registration or Central Provincial Council registration, along the copy of Assets Declaration with the application.
VAT Tax, Turn Over Tax registrations and the relevant copies has to be annexed with the application.
All suppliers are subject to confirm the provisions of the Pradeshiya Sabha Act, Finance Regulations, Monetary Rules, Government circulars and the conditions of the Pradeshiya Sabha.
