Tender Terms and Conditions
1. While quoting, kindly relate to the items by clearly indicating / mentioning the Bid document number, serial number of the quoted item(s).
2. The bid envelop must have the following information on it: a) Bid Number. b) Bidders address and contact number.
3. Bid documents can be obtained on a payment of charges mentioned in relevant advertisement in the form of pay order / bank draft.
4. Alternate / optional price shall not be considered without its bid security.
5. Bid Security only is accepted in the form of pay order / bank draft.
6. Letter of Credit will be allowed to be amended only once in special circumstances through the approval of the Director International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences.
7. The bid price be inclusive of all government taxes where applicable.
8. Performance bond in shape of bank draft, bank Guarantee @ 10 % of the order value should be submitted. The money will not be released till the commissioning, installation, and training of staff concern and issuance of certificate of acceptance of the equipments.
9. All clearing and bank charges will be borne by the Center.
10. Formal P.O. / contract agreement will be issued after acceptance of the order. The acceptance of P.O. will be confirmed with six working days after the acceptance of P.O.
11. The bid value of the stores / item shall be on C & F basis for the “International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS)”, as per purchase order and no other goods will be imported in the consignment.
12. Invoice / packing list should mention the words “Scientific Equipments / Apparatus” (name of the equipment, trade name, country of origin, model, and complete description of the goods).
13. One set of the shipping documents should be sent before shipment within 48 hours to the consignee (ICCBS), so the necessary documentation for its clearance from customs can be promptly arranged.
14. Electronic and circuit diagrams of the supplied equipment must be accompanied with the bid.
15. An agreement will be signed between the Institute and the local agent of ordered goods, wherever applicable.
16. The manufacturers / suppliers, who are not represented in Pakistan by their local agent, can send their offers in sealed envelopes directly to the Director, which will be opened on the same day at 12:15 p.m. in the presence of bidders or their representative.
