Note: A Copy of receipt obtained from District Secretariat -Puttalam for Payment of a non-refundable form fee of Rs. 500/ = and a refundable deposit of Rs. 2000/ = for obtaining of bidding forms for the Pajero vehicle and a non-refundable form fee of Rs. 500/ = and a refundable security deposit of 500/- for obtaining of bidding forms for dismantled engines.

Open quotations are invited fro the sale of following vehicle and engines belonging to District Secretariat - Puttalam.
Instructions for the Bidders :-
Vehicle and Engines could be inspected at District Secretariat premises from 09.11.2009 to 26.11.2009 on all working days from 8.30 a.m. to 4.15 p.m.
A Copy of receipt obtained from District Secretariat -Puttalam for Payment of a non-refundable form fee of Rs. 500/ = and a refundable deposit of Rs. 2000/ = for obtaining of bidding forms for the Pajero vehicle and a non-refundable form fee of Rs. 500/ = and a refundable security deposit of 500/- for obtaining of bidding forms for dismantled engines, should be submitted together with the bid form. (Making of security deposits for purchasing of bidding documents will end at 3.00 p.m. on 25.11.2009).
Bids will be accepted until 10.00 a.m. on 26.11.2009 and opened at 10.00 a.m. on the same day in the presence of Bidders or their authorized Representatives.
"Invitation of Quotations for Sale of Vehicle and Dismantled Engines" should be marked on the top left corner of the envelope containing bids.
Perfected sealed bids (with a duplicate copy) should be deposited in the Tender Box kept at the Development Branch of District Secretariat at or before 10.00 a.m. on 26.11.2009.
Candidates selected by Procurement Committee for purchase of vehicle and dismantled engines, after opening of bids, should make cash payments on or before the date determined by the Procurement Committee and remove the vehicle and dismantled engines. Subsequently, the security deposits will be refunded.

The Procurement Committee has the right to accept or reject any bid and the decision of the Procurement Committee will be final.
