SPAWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC intends to negotiate a sole source contract inaccordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, with SRTechnologies Incorporated, 4101 SW 47th Avenue, Ste 102, Fort Lauderdale, FL33314, a small business, for the purchase of geo-location and targetdevelopment systems and services for enhancements to the systems insupport of tactical operations. Windjammer is a multi-purpose Mobile Satellite Service (MSS) interrogation,geo-location and target development system, capable of operating ondisparate satellite telephone networks. The Pandora L-Band Sensor is thesmallest L-Band Sensor in production. It is a stand-alone, battery operated L-Band and GPS sensor and receiver system. This system is capable of receivingMES signaling from compatible wireless systems in a geo referenced context. SR Technologies is the manufacturer of this equipment and has proprietarydata rights required to upgrade and enhance these systems. SR TechnologiesInc. is the original software developer and is the only contractor withauthorityto perform the services on its systems. A combination service and supply, CostPlus Fixed Fee/Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. The applicableNorth American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334511 and thesize standard is 750 employees. This notice is not a request for competitiveproposals.
