UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Notice of Intent to Lease Spac Using Other Than Full and Open Competition Wilmington, NC The United States Government intends to award a succeeding lease, using other than full and open competition to offers for the Social Security Administration in Wilmington, NC. The Government currently occupies 13,375 rentable square feet, 11,630 ANSI BOMA square feet of office space located at 1528 S. 16th Street., Wilmington, NC 28401. The General Services Administration plans to negotiate a succeeding lease at this location based on economic, mission, and other factors. The Government will relocate only if consideration of economic and other factors are supported and are advantageous to the Government. These factors include but are not limited to relocation and tenant improvement costs. Delineated area is as follows: North: Market Street from Water Street to Mercer Avenue
South: S 17th Street to Extension Drive to Shipyard Blvd East: Shipyard Blvd. at College Road, North to Pinegrove Ave., North to Marcer Ave. to Market Street West: Market Street and S 17th Street to Greenfield St. to 16th St to S17 St TERM: Lease term would be for ten years with the Government having cancellation privileges in whole or in part on 60 days written notice after the fifth year. REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, and required tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental rate. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than October 1, 2010.
