The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Sheridan, Oregon, plans to issue a Request for Quote, #RFQP06121000003, for the provision of subsistence products (canned foods, beverages, cheese, pasta, spices, etc.,). Delivery is required by February 5, 2010. The NAICS code for this requirement is 424410; the small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government will award to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation, is most advantageous to the Government based on best value. Best value will be determined by evaluating each quotation for both of the following elements: price and past delivery performance. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written offer which will be considered for award. The solicitation will be available on or after November 30, 2009 with a due date of December 24, 2009 12:00 p.m. local time. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web www.fedbizopps.gov Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
