The Victorian Government is currently using a very manual system for the extraction, maintenance and reporting of environmental (ie. energy, water, waste, transport, paper and procurement) data. The Victorian Government departments access various systems (ie. Excel, Access etc) to view and extract the data they need, and the method used also varies from department to department.

Therefore, the Victorian Government is aiming to implement a standardised and a more comprehensive reporting system for the management of its environmental data across departments and agencies.

This is a Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG) initiative which is being led by the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE).


A Request for Tender (RFT) is available for download from the Victorian Government Tender website located at www.tenders.vic.gov.au

All enquiries relating to this tender must be directed to Namalka Arambewala by email at namalka.arambewala@dse.vic.gov.au.

Hardcopy Tenders quoting Tender No 309608 must be placed in a sealed envelope and lodged in the Tender Box, Ground Floor, 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne 3002.

When arranging lodgement of tenders please be aware that DSE does not issue receipts.

Tenders close at 2.00pm on Thursday 17th December 2009

Facsimile, e-mail or late tenders will not be accepted.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
