The TUPC, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors registered with and classified by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) to apply for eligibility and if found eligible, to bid for the hereunder contract:

Name of Contract: Proposed Construction of elevated Water tank (Re-bid)
Location: TUPC Comp., CQT Ave., Salawag, Dasmariñas, Cavite
Brief Description: Construction of elevated Water tank-10,000 gallons
ABC: Php 1,208,000.00
Contract Duration: Sixty (60) CD

Prospective Bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last two (2) years with a value of at least fifty per cent (50%) of the ABC, and have key personnel and equipment (owned, Lease or under purchase) available for the prosecution of the contract. The list of minimum equipment requirement is indicated in the eligibility forms. The BAC will use non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria in the Eligibility. The BAC will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-bidding Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post-qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (R.A. 9184).

The Schedule of BAC Activities is as follows:
1. Submission of Letter of Intent & Application for Eligibility/
Issuance of Eligibility Forms Nov. 17-23, 2009
2. Pre bid conference Nov. 24, 2009
3. Receipt & Opening of Bids including Eligibility Check Dec. 7, 2009
4. Post-qualification Dec. 9, 2009
5. Notice of Award Dec.11, 2009
6. Preferrably Cavite Accredited Contractor.

The BAC will issue Bidding Documents only to bidders declared by the BAC to be eligible for bidding upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Php 1,200.00 to the TUPC Cashier.

The TUPC assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expense incurred in the preparation of their bids.
