tender shall design,install,commission and bring into service a Real Time
Passenger Information system which can connect to the various bus operator
AVL (Automatic Vechical Location)systems to recieve in real time estimated
arrival/departure times on all bus stops in the Greater Dublin Area and
then provide this information to on street RTPI Display Signs.

SECTION VI: COMPLEMENTARY INFORMATION
VI.3) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Dublin City council is subject to the
provision of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Acts 1997, 2003. If it is
considered that any information supplied is commerically sensitive or
confidential in nature, it should be identified and the reasons for its
sensitivity specfied.In such cases the relevant material may, subject to
the provisions of the Acts,be protected from access in response to a FOI
request.
It will be a condition for the award of any contract by Dublin City
Council that the successful Tenderer and all sub-contractors produce a
valid Tax Clearance Certificate or C2 Certificate from the Revenue
Commissioners. In the case of a non-resident Tenderer, a statement of
suitability from the Revenue Commissioners will be required.
Please note also in relation to this document , where reference is made to
a particular standard, make, source, process, trademark, type or patent,
that this is not to be regarded as a defacto requirement. In all such
cases it should be understand that such indications are to be treated
strictly and solely for reference purposes only, to which the words "or
equivalent " will always be appended. Suppliers must register their
interest on the etenders web site in order to be included on the mailing
list for claricactions.

Tenders must clearly marked " Tender for Real Time Information System and
On Street Displays "and submitted to the address in section I.1 by the
time and date insection IV 3.4.
The Purchasing Authority is acting on behalf of the following
organisations:
Dublin City Council on behalf of the Department of Transport and acting as
the lead agency for Dublin local Authorities invite tenders for the
provision of a Multi-Operator Real Time Passenger Information system in
the Greater Dublin Area.
