Late Delivery with Penalty @ Rs. 1000.00 per day: Within 15 days from the date of expiry of the first 15 days period of delivery without penalty

1 .The Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI), Federal EPI Cell, Ministry of Health, Government of Pakistan, National Institute of Health, Islamabad invites technical and financial bids in separate sealed covers on “Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)” basis from original Manufacturers, their Authorized Agents and Suppliers in Pakistan for Office Equipment.
2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain the bidding documents from EPI on submission of a written application along with payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/- (rupees five hundred only). Bidding documents will be issued during office hours up to a day before the last date of submission of bids. However, a copy of the bidding documents will be available for information only on the website of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) i.e. www.ppra.org.pk until the closing date for submission of bids.
3. Single stage – single envelope bidding procedure specified in the Public Procurement Rules, 2004 shall be followed for receiving and processing the bids. The amount of Bid Security (Earnest Money) in the shape of pay order/bank draft/call deposit is required to be deposited in the name of the Drawing & Disbursing Officer of the Federal EPI Cell, Islamabad. Any financial proposal not accompanied by the pay order/bank draft/call deposit shall straightaway be rejected.
4. Sealed bids should be dropped in the tender box provided for the purpose in the office of the Purchaser by or before 11 A.M. on 23rd November 2009. The bids received within the stipulated time and date will be opened by the Departmental Procurement Committee in the Conference Room of the Federal EPI Cell, NIH Premises, Chak Shahzad, Park Road, Islamabad the same day at 12.00 Noon in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives, who choose to be present on the occasion.
5. Bidders are requested to give their best and final price as negotiations on the price once quoted/offered are not permissible under the Rules. The Purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
