The Chairman, Departmental Procurement Committee on behalf of the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Proposed Land Development Work for a part of Lot No. 46F at Block 'A' at Biyagama Export Processing Zone, Walgama, Malwana.
Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding Procedure.
To be eligible for contract award, the successful bidder shall not have been blacklisted and shall meet the following requirements:
Specialty :- Highways, Irrigation and Land Drainage.
Grade :- M4/C5 and above.
Qualification requirements to qualify for contract award shall be as per the Clause No. 4.4 under Bidding Data.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Senior Manager, Engineering Department, Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, Biyagama Export Processing Zone (Tel. Nos. 011 2465222, 011 2465214 or -011 2465206 - 9 or e-mail - anandag@boi.lk) and inspect the bidding documents at the same address between 08.30 hrs and 4.30 hrs. on normal working days.
A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the Chairman - Departmental Procurement Committee, C/o Senior Manager (Engineering Services), Biyagama Export Processing Zone or Board of Investment of Sri Lanka from 17th November, 2009 until 02 December, 2009 from 09.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2000/ = plus VAT in cash.
Bids shall be delivered to the Senior Manager (Engineering Services), Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, Biyagama Export Processing Zone, Walgama, Malwana on or before 03rd December, 2009 at 14.00 hrs. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after closing in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend.
All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of Rs. 60,000/-.
All the pages of the Bidding Document shall be initialed.
