For Information Purposes Only NASA\GSFC has a requirement, that will be fulfilledunder this Task 01, Rev 02, Contract No. NNG09HP00C to provide for maintenance of thesoftware and hardware of the EOSDIS Core System (ECS) Science Data Processing System(SDPS) and the ECS maintenance environment. It also provides for program management,system engineering, science support and operations support. This Task also includessystem evolution activities that will reduce the overall cost of maintaining andoperating the ECS SDPS.NASA GSFC has awarded a Revision No. 02 to Task 01 under Contract No. NNG09HP00C withRaytheon Company. Cost plus award fee, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, ContractNo. NNG09HP00C was awarded to Raytheon Company on May 23, 2009, on a sole source basiswhile a competitive procurement is in process. A cost type contract was awarded due tothe uncertainties inherent to the work being performed.
