For Information Purposes Only NASA\GSFC has a requirement, to be fulfilled underTask 01, Rev 02, Contract No. NNG09HP00C to provide for maintenance of the software andhardware of the EOSDIS Core System (ECS) Science Data Processing System (SDPS) and theECS maintenance environment. It also provides for program management, systemengineering, science support and operations support. This Task also includes systemevolution activities that will reduce the overall cost of maintaining and operating theECS SDPS.NASA GSFC intends to award a Revision No. 02 to Task 01 under Contract No. NNG09HP00Cwith Raytheon Company. Cost plus award fee, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantityContract No. NNG09HP00C was awarded to Raytheon Company on May 23, 2009, on a sole sourcebasis while a competitive procurement is in process. A cost type contract was awardeddue to the uncertainties inherent to the work being performed.The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
