Pre-solicitation notice/Synopsis Title will be: RECOVERY - FFS PROJECT #R2MB, TAS# 14-1610, Well Evaluation and Solar Pumps The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Region 2, Division of Contracting and General Services plans to issue a Request for Quotation number (RFP) 20181RQ029, the RFP will be posted on or about 18 November 2009. This requirement will support work being performed on the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge (BANWR) consisting of 1.) evaluating three established water wells to ensure that they will be capable of supplying the additional water needed for habitat re-vegetation sites and 2.) the procurement of solar pumping systems installed on three currently non-functioning water wells to supply water to quail and wildlife drinkers and future re-vegetation sites for quail habitat. This RFP will be advertised as a Total Small Business set-aside. The USFWS is seeking certified Small Business contractors in the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333911 - Pump and Pumping Equipment Manufacturing. When posted, all Statement of Work, Specifications, U. S. Fish and Wildlife Refuge Points of Contacts for Site Visits and related documents will be available for download via the National Business Center (NBC) website http://ideasec.nbc.gov/j2ee/login.jsp , use the quick search box at WWW.FBO.GOV to access the solicitation by number. Postings will also be linked to the NBC via the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov.
