RECOVERY - REHAB BOUNDARY FENCE, ARRA PROJECT # R6HF, TAS::14 1610::TASTHIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS ISSUED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA).The upcoming soliciation will be posted under full and open procedures in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) has an existing need at Lacreek NWR, SD to remove approximately 6.0 miles of existing fence and replace it with new 4-wire boundary fence. All work will be performed in accordance with the approved US Fish and Wildlife Service design drawings and specifications. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions by making arrangements with the Project Leader. Site Visit information will be listed in the solicitation. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total performance is 45 days from the Notice to Proceed. The upcoming solicitation will be using NAICS code 238990, Other Specialty Trade Contractors, with a size standard of $14.0M. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on or about 03 Dec 2009 with an anticipated closing date of 06 Jan 2010. Copies of the solicitation, specifications, and drawings can be obtained at http://www.fedbizopps.gov once available for issuance.
