The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation in accordance with these specifications for performing work necessary for installation, demolition and disposal as required in this project. The requirement is to remove and dispose of approximately 50 Acres of trees from the West Flight Approach Path of the runway at Marshall Army Airfield, Fort Riley, Kansas. Tree and Vegetation Disposal, erosion and sediment control, grubing, grating and seeding, grading, and seeding, and mulching are a required of this project also.

Procurement will be solicited as Unrestricted. The Government anticipates a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract award as a result of this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238910. In accordance with FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds, funds are not present available for this requirement. The Governments obligation under this requirement is contigent upon the availability of appropriate funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made.

Solicitation W911RX-10-B-0005 (IFB) will be issued on or about 01 December 2009 with a bid opening of 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. The IFB will be issued on the Fort Riley Contracting webpage at: http://www.1id.army.mil/UnitPage.aspx?unit=doc . A notification will also be issued on the Army Single Face Industry (AFSI) website at: https://www.fbo.gov .

Prospective bidders interested in submitting a bid on this solicitation must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and are reminded in accordance with DFARS Clause 252.204-7004, Alternate A, Central Contractor Registration (Sep 2007) must be active.
