Description
The New Police Helicopter (NPH1) begins to address WA Police’s extraordinary operational challenges presented by the state’s unique demographic, WA Police’s significant responsibility from a national security perspective and the additional challenges of policing the largest non-federated jurisdiction in the world. The NPH1 is also the Police Air Wing’s first step towards establishing the Police aviation capability as national leader and realising the Air Wing’s 2012 vision for a whole-of-government aviation capability, no longer constrained to operations in and around greater Perth.
