Applications are invited for registration of suppliers for supply of goods and services for Badulla District Secretariat and Divisional Secretariat Offices in the Badulla District.
It is expected to register suppliers for the goods and service items mentioned below and separate applications should be submitted for each of the goods and services. Registered Societies can apply for registration in their names, if they wish to.
Applicants should submit a written request either to the Chief Accountant of the Badulla District Secretariat or Divisional Secretaries of the Divisional Secretariats in the Badulla District, from 09.11.2009 up to 24.12.2009 during working days of the week, from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. and the relevant tender forms will be issued on payment of Rs. 100/- nonrefundable fee.
Completed applications should be sent by registered post to be received at or before 2.00 p.m.. on 28.12.2009, addressed to "District Secretary, District Secretariat, Badulla". The cover containing the tenders should be marked "Registration of Suppliers 2010" on the left side top corner.
Late applications will be rejected. Completed applications can also be deposited in the tender box kept at the official room of the Chief Accountant of the Badulla District Secretariat before the stipulated closing time and date to avoid unnecessary delays in the mail. Applicants should submit documents with the applications to prove that they are reputed suppliers of goods and services for which they intend to be registered under the relevant categories mentioned below.
Applicants who do not submit required documentary proof will not be considered. When calling for quotations at the Divisional Secretariat level in the Badulla District, registered institutes in the relevant Divisional Secretariat Divisions will be given priority.
