Eligibility of tenderers: The tenderer should have valid trade Scenes, Vat registration certificate & up-to-date income tax clearance certificate. The tenderer shall be contractor enlisted in any govt./semi Govt./ autonomous body or a bonafide Bangladeshi businessman having at least 3(three) years general experience in construction of civil works mentioned in the Item No. 23(a), 23(b) & 23(c) and weighing scale/bridge manufacturers or suppler for the work mentioning in Item No. 23(d). The tenderer should have experience in weighbridge scale and weighing scale repair & maintenance from any govt. Semi-govt./ autonomous body or any reputed organization for the work mentioned in Item No. 23(d). The tenderer should have experience of similar Contracts at least 1 (one) number for the following work in govt./Semi govt./ autonomous body for the last 5 (five) years.
The minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities net of other contractual commitments of the tenderer shall be Tk 5.00 (five) lac, 8.00 (eight) lac, 6.00 (six) lac & 4.00 (four) lac for the work mentioned in Item No. 23(a), 23(b), 23(c) & 23(d) respectively. Documentary evidence for the above liquid assets/credit facilities shall be submitted with tie tender. No tender will be accepted without proofing of required amount liquid asset, recent bank statement, saving certificate or similar certificate and credit facility consider to measure liquid asset. Conditional credit facility shall not be consider.
The required average annual turnover of the tenderer shall be greater than Tk. 55.00 (fifty five) lac, 25.00 (twenty five) lac & 15.00 (fifteen) lac for the work mentioned in Item No. 23(b). 23(c) & 23(d) respectively over he last three years, g) | Other criteria as mentioned in the tender document.
The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or al tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever and are rot bound to accept the lowest tender. The evaluation of this lender shall be governed by The Public Procurement Act-2006 and The Public Procurement Rules-2008. The tender security shall be submitted with the tender in the form of Pay-Order or Demand draft Bank Guarantee in favour of the Chairman.
