NOTICE TO BIDDERS

WEST DRIED MEAT LAKE REGIONAL LANDFILL AUTHORITY

Bid for: West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill Authority
Construction of Leachate Pond and Landfill Cap

Sealed Bids clearly marked “West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill Authority – Construction of Leachate Pond and Landfill Cap” and addressed to West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill Authority will be received at the offices of Camrose County, 4728 – 41 Street, Camrose AB T4V 0Z6 before 14:00:00., local time, on November 30, 2009. Bids received and not conforming to the foregoing will be returned to the Bidder without consideration.

The Work comprises construction of a leachate containment pond and landfill cap including HDPE liner and piping.

Copies of the Bid Documents can be obtained electronically at no cost. Hard copies of the Bid Documents can be obtained from the offices of AECOM Canada Ltd., 17007 107 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5S 1G3 on or after November 9, 2009, upon receipt of a $25.00 non-refundable deposit by cheque, made payable to the Camrose County.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on November 18, 2009 starting at 14:30:00 local time at the site, SW 14-44-21 W4M.

Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid Price, payable to West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill Authority. Bids are also to be accompanied by Consent of Survey to provide performance bonding to 50% and labour and materials bonding to 50% of the contract price. Failure to provide Bids Security will be a factor taken into account when awarding the contract.
