Instructional Design Services

The University of Alberta is inviting firms with demonstrated experience in providing Instructional Design services to submit a Proposal for the Services. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is being issued on behalf of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.

There is a need to develop an innovative undergraduate medical program. The Preclinical Networked Medical Education Pilot Project expands on the RICC by testing the feasibility of networked medical education to assist with the following overarching goals:

• Increasing the number of generalist physicians, including family physicians
• Increasing the number of physicians who practice in rural and regional communities in Alberta
• Expanding the teaching capacity to incorporate new medical school seats
